Israel is facing a new wave of terrorism — a bombing in central Jerusalem today injured at least 25, and a growing more rockets and mortars are hitting southern Israel. A new report indicates that since the end of the Gaza operation in January 2009, 282 rockets and 193 mortar shells have been fired into Israel. Government officials and military analysts say a new war could be coming between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
“At least 25 people were hurt Wednesday afternoon after an explosive device was detonated in a phone booth near the Jerusalem Convention Center,” reports Ynet News. “One person sustained grave wounds in the explosion and three others were seriously hurt. Five other victims were moderately wounded and the rest sustained light injuries. Most victims are young, aged 15-30.” Please be praying for the Lord to have mercy on all those suffering, and for those responsible to be brought to justice.
